Fr Raymond, Rector B.A. M.Div.

Born in Burlington and raised in Southern Ontario and Michigan, Fr Raymond is a graduate of McMaster University (History), Lambton College (Human Resource Management), and Huron University College (Theology). Prior to ordination he worked in a variety of fields including retail management, call centres, and as an adjunct professor. He has also been heavily involved in the organized labour movement and Scouts Canada, and continues to be passionate about workers' rights, economic justice, and the care of creation. He currently serves on the Diocesan Human Resources and Stewardship Committees, and as Treasurer of the Deanery of Lambton-Kent.

Fr Raymond is inspired by the writings of a number of scholars from different traditions including NT Wright, Marcus Borg, Amy-Jill Levine, Diana Butler Bass, and David Lose. He enjoys engaging with others in exploring what God is saying to the Church of our time and place and how God's love transforms lives and world.
